Permission Based Policy

MRuncit supports only permission-based SMS marketing.

Spam is unsolicited commercial SMS that has not been requested by the recipient. In addition to being perceived as intrusive, irrelevant and often offensive, it is also typical that spam SMS do not contain an option to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Simply put, spam is the opposite of permission-based SMS-- those that are requested, anticipated, personal and relevant.

Preventing Unsolicited SMS s Via MRuncit

You may not use MRuncit or the products or services provided through or in connection with the MRuncit to: send unsolicited bulk SMS, for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Unsolicited bulk SMS is defined as SMS sent to more than 10 individuals with whom you do not have a prior business relationship. Also, users must accept that unsubscribe or opt-out option will be automatically appended to every SMS sent via MRuncit. This is not an option. In the event that a user violates any one of our usage rules, or for any other reason deemed appropriate by MRuncit, MRuncit reserves the right to suspend or terminate, without notice, access to the user's account and all related data.

Encouraging Permission-Based Marketing

MRuncit encourages its users to create and manage "opt-in" subscriber lists. By building and using an "opt-in" subscriber list, users can be certain that they are sending SMS s to recipients that have expressly given their permission to do so. It is also important to note that subscribers receiving SMS campaigns by users will only see their names in the header -- all other SMS addresses are not viewable which makes them safer from unsolicited SMS abuse via other recipients of the same SMS campaign. Buying lists of SMS addresses from third parties and sending bulk SMS s to them is strongly prohibited and may result in the suspension and eventually termination of the user's account.

Responding to Unsolicited SMS Complaints

If a complaint is received regarding unsolicited SMS s being sent from our MRuncit tools, an immediate investigation is undertaken.

* Initial Warning - The user is first notified that an unsolicited SMS complaint has been lodged against them and:
i. Reminded of the terms they accepted in the Terms of Service.
ii. Reminded that the complainant's SMS address will automatically be flagged for suppression if the complainant did unsubscribe.
iii. Requested to manually remove the complainant's SMS address from their subscriber list if the address was not automatically suppressed because the complainant did not unsubscribe. Depending on the severity of the complaints, the user may be required to utilize a dedicated IP address at MRuncit's current market rate and at the user's own expense.

* Termination of account - If notifications of unsolicited SMS s continue after the warning, the user's account privileges will be suspended and eventually terminated.

Complaints?

Unsubscribe from the SMS with the opt-out option of your choice and send us a message to notify us of any unsolicited messages. We will then begin an investigation into CAN-SPAM and/or European Commission Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (EU Privacy Directive) compliance. MRuncit takes permission-based marketing very seriously.
